What is an Expert Report?
An expert report is a report prepared by experts in the field that reveals all the information and opinions they possess. In court cases, when technical knowledge is insufficient, parties may consult with experts to help them defend themselves and prove their case. These reports are often prepared by experts, often as evidence. This method is necessary in some court cases where technical and specialized knowledge is insufficient.

SUBJECT: Contains our objections to the expert report.
EXPLANATIONS:
1-) Our objections to the expert report dated …/…/… prepared and submitted to your court’s case file, as stated above, are as follows:
2-) As you may recall, this lawsuit was filed by the plaintiff to recover from our client the payment made to the insured under a workplace insurance policy that includes internal flood coverage. Our client is held liable for causing the damage as a tenant and through his own use.
3-) The expert report in question merely confirmed the occurrence of the damage and merely calculated the resulting damage in financial terms, taking into account market values.
4-) However, the hose that ruptured over time and caused the damage was a fixed fixture on the building and is an asset of the building. Furthermore, it was manufactured from cheap materials and was not installed in accordance with technical specifications. Although these matters were emphasized in our response petition dated …/…/…, the aforementioned expert report contains no findings or observations regarding these matters. Indeed, if the truth of our claim is proven, our client’s liability cannot be inferred, as, pursuant to Article 58 of Law No. 818, “the owner of a building or any manufactured object is liable for the defective construction or deficiencies in the preservation of that object.”
5-) For the reasons we have explained above, we object to the expert report in question.
LEGAL REASONS: Law No. 6100, Art. 281.
CONCLUSION AND REQUEST: For the reasons we have explained above, I hereby request that our objections to the expert report dated …/…/… be accepted and that a new expert examination be ordered, covering the matters we have stated in our objections. …/…/…
