How is Disability Pension Calculated?
Disability pensions for insured individuals who have worked under more than one of Article 4, Paragraph 1, Article 4 of Law No. 5510, are granted based on their most recent insurance status.
Monthly Connection Rate (MPR):
– 40% for insured individuals under 4(a). (For those with fewer than 7,200 premium payment days, this rate is increased by 2% for each full year exceeding 7,200 days.
– 50% for insured individuals under 4(b) and (c). (For those with fewer than 9,000 premium payment days, this rate is increased by 2% for each full year exceeding 9,000 days.)
In calculating the monthly connection rate, periods shorter than 360 days are taken into account proportionally. If the insured person is in need of permanent care of another person, the monthly repayment rate is increased by 10 points, but the monthly repayment rate cannot exceed 90%.
